Short Story: A Story Of Another Planet
Rahmatullah Shafiq

The green clouds spread from the corner of the North and were seen far from the pink sky. The year 2605 brought a change in revolution. The evolution had stopped since the factories, pollution were non-stop. A group of well-trained scientists escaped Earth which had no trees, the oceans water decreased fast in early decades of modernisation. Still, a bunch of people lived on Earth who were given pipelined oxygen. Those 10 people grouped scientists visualized the Earth was no more a planet to live and escaped before 2604 with the help of light rocket.

They were now to a planet, Panta3, from the star nearest to the Earth. As they arrived, they found human like creatures, but 3 feet taller. Those welcomed them and studied briefly about the scientists and the climate disasters of the Earth.

"Being here for two years," William said, "It seems it is our planet." The next person Ali exclaimed, "This can never compete with our Earth's old purity and cleanliness."

"We did not cover the problems and they turned into troubles," William stated.

Panta3 was a planet full of freedom for individual. Everyone was busy living their own lives and never looked over others property. The time turned for the moon and the stars shined and seemed nearer. When the earthly scientists were gazing the stars up, a common man shouted, "I have heard from the laboratory, a huge stone is going to hit us." Ali at the same time said to the rest of his team, "It's the time to help them. And, we must prove our brains have better strength than theirs."

The team rushed to the laboratory and met the Panta3 space scientist. He was typing and locating the exact position. "May we help you out," William exclaimed seriously. The Panta3 scientist smiled and shouted, "Look them people. They are offering us help. If you really were helpful or united, then why your planet is turning to lava. You failed to help your planet how come you help our Panta3." The scientists of Panta3 refocused to their work. The ten scientists felt embarrassed and left the laboratory with empty hands.
